Old Testament Praise Forms vs New Testament Praise Forms.
Mississauga  |  August 2011
An extract from the Lifehouse Worship School (2011)

Some people say that the the NT contains no scriptural backing for dancing, jumping, shouting and other expressions of worship that were found in the OT.

As a result they are reluctant or anti those expressions in churches today.

Is that a valid perspective?

United in Love in the Midst of Revolutions
Preaching starts at 00:55:35  |  29 Aug 2010  |  Audio File
We're living in such exciting times, there are so many God-revolutions taking place: the grace revolution, joy revolution, healing revolution...

This message is about staying united in love in the midst of these.

About honouring the Body of Christ and not seeing 'revolution' as a political war we fight against other churches and flows.

Praising the Seed to Fulfillment
No visual media  |  23 May 2010  |  Audio File

23 May 2010 Anneline Breetzke, Praising your seed to fulfillment. from City Church on Vimeo.

No word of God (no 'rhema') is without the power of fulfillment.
As we combine that word with our faith response, we activate that seed.

Praise is like a scrum around that seed, it encloses itself around it, and helps to bring the seed into the fulfillment latent within it.

Praise doesn't just declare the rhema of God but celebrates its fulfillment before the time of manifestation. True praise is rest.

His Face without Religious Measure
Preaching starts at 00:20:46  |  27 June 2010  |  Audio File
(Audio quality comes right at 21:20)
We can have a revelation of grace and yet live under a measuring stick of religion. The word for Presence is the same word for Face in both testaments.

In Christ, we have unveiled faces that behold His Face, His Presence. It's the measuring stick of religion that sneaks in so subtly and veils us to His goodness.

Adult religious thinking cannot be casually removed. Childlike praise breaks that internal measure.
